Bar Code number is the unique ID for each item, and is required in all transactions. The bar code number can be the same as inventory number (such as your existing part number) or serial number as long as it is unique to the system. That means you can convert the existing inventory number or serial number into bar codes and have the system generate bar code label for it.

The program manages not only consumable stocks, but also returnable equipment and tools. By specifying the type of item and maximum days allowed to be out, the system will keep track of returnable items and their overdue status. You can also set up service frequency for preventive maintenance on the equipment or tools
